WorkBC is the provincial government’s access point to the world of work in British Columbia. It was created with one key goal – to help all British Columbians to successfully navigate B.C.’s labour market.
WorkBC centres across BC work with BCIB to help applicants through our application process, identify where applicants may benefit from local upskilling opportunities, as well as providing funding for job starts. WorkBC’s also run programs such as Project Based Labour Market Training (PBLMTs) that support BCIB in our mandate to increase and diversify the skilled trades industry.
